The West Midlands Cat Clinic (WMCC) is a cat-only veterinary clinic. They strive to create a stress-free environment in which to treat cats. The cat focused vet practice sought us to develop a branding style that was approachable, compassionate and cat-centric. Additionally, they also required a content-managed website that utilised their new identity.
Branding a cat only vet clinic
Inspired by familiar visual cues from the medical industry and the vet clinic’s passion for cats we developed a range of branding elements including a colour palette, typography, photography, graphic styles and a brand mascot. The cat clinic’s new identity radiates the aesthetic of a high-standard veterinary facility. Additionally, the informal typography choice and cat mascot shows the brands welcoming, approachable and even a little bit cheeky side.
We chose to develop the website using WordPress as we understood blogging would form an important part of WMCC’s marketing strategy. The custom built WordPress theme promotes the new visual identity. Moreover, easy to read, responsive layouts deliver informative content and resources. All of which can be updated and maintained by the West Midlands Cat Clinic.
