Reflection are pleased to announce the launch of a new driving game app for our client WLR UK, an online supplier of genuine new Land Rover parts and service centre.
The Brief: Land Rover Driving Game
We were approached by WLR UK and asked to create a game based app that would raise brand awareness and engagement across their social media channels. We agreed a fixed budget for the project as this was new territory for the business, bearing in mind that the game can be developed further. The game would become a marketing tool that will drive traffic to their existing website ultimately resulting in an increase in sales and reinforce the offering of the service centre.
What We Did
Reflection produced a time trial Land Rover driving game in which users race around a track to achieve their fastest lap. The game allows users to post their lap time to Facebook which, in turn, will expose the game to a wider audience across social media. The target audience for this was Land Rover drivers and off-road enthusiasts so the game is tailored to give a realistic experience of driving a vehicle, off-road, through rugged terrain. We have used the WLR UK logo throughout the game to increase brand recognition and the user is also given the opportunity to visit the WLR UK website at various points in the game. The game is available to download for free on Google Play and the App Store.
